Diesel Conversion Kits

This type of system is suitable for mechanically-injected diesel engines.

Conversion of a diesel engine is different from that of a petrol engine. Diesel is always burned - you just have the option of adding LPG or not. Adding LPG helps the diesel to burn more completely. This tends to clean up emmissions and increases the power output - allowing the use of a lighter throttle and leading to fuel economy.
Care must be taken to avoid feeding in too much LPG as ADDING TOO MUCH LPG MAY DAMAGE THE ENGINE. Tinley Tech cannot be held responsible for damage caused by incorrect tuning.

The benefits of the system are most evident on mechanically injected engines. In all cases, the savings in running costs will depend on the tuning of the LPG system and the way the vehicle is driven.

The kit comprises:
Reducer/vapouriser
LPG switch, wiring loom and level indicator
LPG filter and shut-off valve
Mixer and power-valve
Vapour shut-off control system
Water Ts, hose and clips
Vapour hose and clips
Plastic-coated copper pipe and clips
UK filler
Cylinder tank (up to 40 litres), cradle, straps and multivalve
Gas-tight box, vent pipe and fittings (as required)
LPG level sender

The cylinder tank can be upgraded to a toroidal or full toroidal tank.

A cylinder tank can be upgraded to a larger cylinder tank.
