Tank Straps, Brackets and Frames

The bar is designed to be used between wheel arches to secure a cylinder tank. The telescopic bar is bolted to the vehicle through the ends of the bar and the tank is strapped to the bar using 2 or more heavy-duty straps (sold separately). The mounted tank must be able to withstand 20g in the direction of travel. So, make sure that the points where the bar is secured are strong enough.

This bracket is used to secure a Stako toroidal tank to a vehicle and to provide light protection for the pipes and cables that feed from the centre of the tank.

The frames come with straps and fasteners to secure the tank to the frame, and buffers to fit between them to prevent abrasion.
