Tank Valves and Boxes

This set of 4 valves is intended for use in a 4-hole cylinder tank. The valves are designed to work at 52 degrees down from vertical. Each set is specific to the diameter of the cylinder tank. So, be sure to select the correct size from the drop-down list.

The outlet pipe is fitted using a flare nut, either 6mm or 8mm. These are sold separately.

If the tank is fitted inside the vehicle it must have a gas-tight box and vent hoses to purge any leaked gas. These items are sold separately.

Current regulations require a number of safety features to be designed into a multivalve. These include:
a non-return fill valve
automatic shut-off at 80% full
a pressure relief valve
an electrically operated shut-off output valve.
Older valves often fail to meet this specification. If your multivalve is not marked E67R-01, you should change it.
You must fit a valve that matches the diameter of the tank.
These valves are designed to be mounted at 30 degrees up from horizontal.
The multivalve comes with a gas-tight box and 2 m of vent hose.
