LPG Kit Details

Multipoint Sequential Gas Injection System

Multipoint Sequential Gas Injection System Popular for later (post-1999) vehicles with sophisticated diagnostic systems or those vehicles not suited to single-point conversion (e.g. plastic manifolds), gives slightly more performance and economy. Kit includes latest generation, full-sequential front-end with separate LPG ECU, injectors, vaporiser/reducer, pressure sensor, LPG solenoid/filter, vapour filter, switch, loom,  pipes, hoses, setting software, instructions and full rear-end cylinder tank kit as below - everything needed.

Visit our On-Line Store for more details.

Various tank options available - see below:

Single-Point, Closed-loop Induction System, Petrol-injected

Single-Point, Closed-loop Induction System This type of system is suitable for petrol-injected engines with catalytic converter/lambda probe, (providing that they have a metal inlet manifold and were manufactured before 1999). Direct injection petrol engines are not suitable candidates for single-point induction systems.
Components include reducer, mixer, LPG solenoid/filter, changeover switch, lambda control system, injection emulator, tank level-sensor, a cylinder tank (up to 90 litres), tank multivalve, gas-tight box & trunking, UK bayonet 'flush' filler, tank straps & cradle, 6mm & 8mm copper LPG pipe, water Ts & hose, LPG hose, pipe clips and fitting instructions.

Visit our On-Line Store for more details.

Single-Point, Open-loop Induction System, Petrol-injected

Single-Point, Open-loop Induction System, Petrol-injected This type of system is suitable for early petrol-injected engines without a catalytic converter. Direct injection petrol engines are not suitable candidates for single-point induction systems.
Components include reducer, mixer, LPG solenoid/filter, changeover switch, injection emulator, tank level-sensor, a cylinder tank (up to 90 litres), tank multivalve, gas-tight box & trunking, UK bayonet 'flush' filler, tank straps & cradle, 6mm & 8mm copper LPG pipe, water Ts & hose, LPG hose, pipe clips and fitting instructions.

Visit our On-Line Store for more details.

Single-Point, Open-loop Induction System, Single Carburettor

Single-Point, Open-loop Induction System, Single Carburettor This type of system is suitable for single-carburetted engines without a lambda probe.
Components include reducer, mixer, LPG solenoid/filter, changeover switch, petrol shut-off solenoid, tank level-sensor, a cylinder tank (up to 90 litres), tank multivalve, gas-tight box & trunking, UK bayonet 'flush' filler, tank straps & cradle, 6mm & 8mm copper LPG pipe, water Ts & hose, LPG hose, pipe clips and fitting instructions.

Visit our On-Line Store for more details.

Single-Point, Open-loop Induction System, Twin-Carburettor

Single-Point, Open-loop Induction System, Twin-Carburettor This type of system is suitable for twin-carburetted engines without a lambda probe.
Components include reducer, 2 mixers, LPG solenoid/filter, changeover switch, petrol shut-off solenoid, tank level-sensor, a cylinder tank (up to 90 litres), tank multivalve, gas-tight box & trunking, UK bayonet 'flush' filler, tank straps & cradle, 6mm & 8mm copper LPG pipe, water Ts & hose, LPG hose, pipe clips and fitting instructions.

Visit our On-Line Store for more details.

Diesel kit

Diesel kit Conversion of a diesel engine is different from that of a petrol engine. Diesel is always burned - you just have the option of adding LPG or not. Adding LPG helps the diesel to burn more completely. This tends to clean up emmissions and increases the power output - allowing the use of a lighter throttle and leading to fuel economy. This system is aimed at owner/drivers and gives best return on your investment when installed on sound, older diesel engines where the scope for improvement is greater.
Components include reducer, mixer, LPG solenoid, changeover switch, tank level-sensor, up to 36 litre standard cylinder tank, tank multivalve, gas-tight box & trunking, UK bayonet 'flush' filler, tank straps & cradles, 6mm & 8mm copper LPG pipe, water Ts & hose, LPG hose, pipe clips and fitting instructions.

Visit our On-Line Store for more details.

Tank Options

We have many shapes and sizes of tanks available. You can see the different shapes and the pros and cons of each by clicking here. To see the price of the kit that you want with the tank of your choice, follow the appropriate link from the sections above and select your tank from the drop-down list.
For certain vehicles, we have some specific kits and you can see these at our On-Line Store.

Extra Tanks

It is possible to use twin/multiple tanks- Prices vary with size, but some examples can be found at our On-Line Store.
Replacement petrol tanks and skid units for under-slung tanks are available for some vehicles. See our On-Line Store.
Four-hole tanks - most sizes available from stock. Visit our On-Line Store for more details.

American Vehicles - special equipment available

Single-Point
Medium-large American engines can be converted using Italian equipment. Components are much the same as most single-point systems, but with a special Italian mixer and large capacity vaporiser
Large American engines are often best suited to American 'Impco' kits that use most of the usual single-point components, but with Impco mixer and vaporiser. Visit our On-Line Store for more details.
Multipoint for American
Most American vehicles that require a multipoint solution can be converted using the standard multipoint system, providing they develop fewer than 390 BHP. However, a few engines will require extra components and high-output engines will require special/extra components.

Boat Conversions

We have equipment available to convert most boats. You can see an example of a single-point induction solution at our On-Line Store.

Multipoint solutions will be similar to those for a road vehicle, although special consideration may be required for the cooling system, tanks and filler. - For a specific solution please contact Tinley Tech.

Small Engines

We have kits available for most small engines, generators, quads etc. - contact Tinley Tech for more details.

All prices are net of VAT, overnight delivery, credit cards welcome

Feel free to call and discuss special requirements

Prices can be subject to change.
